However, while word games can be helpful, they should never be relied upon as the sole method of language acquisition. Combined with other learning activities, however, such as reading, listening, speaking, and writing, they help develop a well-rounded skill set. Focusing solely on vocabulary, without pracctise in reading, grammar and writing limits overall proficiency.
