The paranormal refers to things that cannot be explained by science. It often involves supernatural events. Ghosts, believed to be the spirits of the dead, have been a part of different cultures for centuries. Witches, wizards, and characters associated with magical powers, all have played prominent roles in stories and traditions, especially around Halloween. In many parts of the world, Halloween is celebrated on October 31^st in some form. It has roots in ancient festivals such as Samhain, where the Celts believed that the dead returned to their world. Today, Halloween is a time for spooky fun, costumes, and tales of ghosts, witches, and other scary things.
